different types of _______

multisensory diary in performance

in collaboration with Zeitgeist.

A multisensory diary, different types of _______ documents and explores Afrisando’s sensory experiences (sound, sight, and tactile) manifested in captions and sound. This work expresses sensory decomposition, zooming, and categorization of various listening experiences, which consistently occur in his neurodivergent mind.

In this project, Afrisando collaborates with Zeitgeist, with invaluable accessibility inputs from Joan Harris Stephan, Gary Stephan, and Miriam Gerberg. As a result, the work turns into an experience where the audience can wander around the stage to touch the instruments being played, the lighting is only dimmed to allow communication between audience members, and the caption appearance is improved.
